How We Made it into The Sunday Times
How Kerry Southern-Reason ‘Made it’ into The Sunday Times.
This past weekend, our CEO Kerry Southern-Reason had the privilege of being featured in the Sunday Times in the “How I Made It” section, a moment that truly took Kerry and the team by surprise.
It all started last month when Kerry attended the #MPHERoes event hosted by Savvitas and received an #MPHERoes Award, at the UK House of Lords.
During this event, Kerry had the pleasure of hearing Hannah Prevett, the Deputy Editor of Times Enterprise Network, speak on a panel hosted by Yvonne Greeves from NatWest.
“Her insights on female entrepreneurship and leadership were so impactful that I felt compelled to reach out to her and compliment her.” Said Kerry. “To my surprise, Hannah responded in the most generous way, complimenting my story and sharing how she thought it would resonate with Sunday Times readers. Her encouragement was both humbling and motivating, and she invited me to explore the possibility of sharing my journey with a wider audience. Needless to say, I jumped at the opportunity.”
The feature, which appeared in this weekend’s Sunday Times, has been a moment of reflection for Kerry. “It’s a reminder of how far determination, hard work, and a positive mindset can take you. When you push forward with purpose the results can be beyond anything you imagined.” She said.
“I am grateful to Hannah for shaping my words into something that I can’t believe is about me! I hope my story resonates with others who are on their own journeys, proving that with positivity, determination, and a willingness to take risks, anything is possible.”
