Cavell Park
The latest in a long line of collaborations with Porthaven Care Homes, we embarked on a unique project that didn’t come with a standard brief. Instead, the singular request from Porthaven was to make the next one even better, a challenge we were excited to embrace. Our aim was to design an interior that would set this care home apart, reinforcing Porthaven’s reputation as a provider of exceptional, high- quality care environments.
Beeston Rise
Part of Tanglewood’s new Senior Living luxury care homes range, Beeston Rise provides bespoke residential and dementia care in luxury surroundings with high-end facilities. Underpinning their commitment to quality the design provides every conceivable amenity and comfort required for those living with dementia. With a particular focus on wellbeing, our attention to detail has delivered a dignified and enriching environment for a quality of life that is the essence of the Tanglewood philosophy.
Richard House
Taking from their ethos ‘a place to call home’ we carried that throughout the interior design with unique decor that all residents would benefit from, regardless of whether they are receiving dementia, respite, or palliative care. Still fulfilling the functional needs of modern-day care home, we achieved a design that not only aids a meaningful quality of life but provides a relaxed, comfortable and homely environment – the very essence of the Tanglewood philosophy.
UPTON MILL
Upton Mill Care Home is a new luxury 64-bedroom care home facility offering exceptional care and comfort to its residents with a range of differing care requirements, including residential, dementia and nursing care. Each resident bedroom is unique in design and scheme, reinforcing it is a home not an institution. In total, six themed lounges were created, providing a little fun whilst appealing to particular tastes and moods.
Blythe Rose
Working with Macc Care we created a home that would deliver a unique and dynamic experience for elderly care. Designed to provide a model of living with dementia that provides more opportunity to be independent we pushed the boundaries of design. Everything has been driven by physical and visual sensory experiences yet managed to not overstimulate. The design provides opportunity to explore and engage in safe and familiar surroundings offering a distinctive and thoughtful approach to dementia care.
Deer Park
Evolving the Porthaven brand through design we created a home that would exceed local community expectations. Nowhere in the locality does such a purpose build care home exist with the WOW factor. Every last thought has gone in to supporting the differing care requirements, and individual social, emotional and physical wellbeing needs. The ability to continue to make lifestyle choices is aided through the design that incorporates many thoughtful and practical features to ensure the comfort and safety of residents.
Mockley Manor
Mockley Manor is a luxury care facility near Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire. The home recently enjoyed an extensive makeover, increasing its capacity to 63 bedrooms. The Care Home Interiors Company completed a full interior fit-out for this development, including 29 bedrooms, two spacious care suites, lounges, dining areas, a salon, a cinema, and a new reception area with café facilities. This unique home features exclusive, handcrafted features throughout.
FALKLAND GRANGE
Our work at this beautiful home won a Pinders Healthcare Design Award in 2020 in the Best Specialist Dementia Design category. Nestled in a lively and active area of Newbury, Falkland Grange offers an exceptional level of choice, comfort, and homeliness to its residents. Every little detail was considered in this project, ensuring a high standard of living – from unique interiors in each of its 64 bedrooms, to interactive wall art for dementia residents.
LAVENDER OAKS
Lavender Oaks enjoys a truly enviable position in a spacious and leafy site with panoramic views of surrounding hills and woodland. With a 21st century design, combining the aesthetic with the practical, we achieved some stunning features in this light and airy environment. Residents benefit from spacious private bedrooms, communal living areas, lounges, restaurants, a café, cinema, a hairdressing salon and nail bar, and a private dining room.
WOODLAND MANOR
This boutique-style care home is located in the vibrant and friendly village of in Chalfont St Peter. The interior of the home reflects the strong local identity and lively community with its resident bistro, private family dining room, cinema and hair salon. Woodland Manor is flooded with natural light and is close to The Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The synergy between Woodland Manor’s location and design echoes our holistic philosophy.
SAVERNAKE VIEW
Savernake Forest is a beautiful retreat framed by woods and waters. This beautiful care home is a testament to the shared aspiration of Porthaven Care Homes and The Care Home Interiors Company to drive forward the care home industry. Savernake View features the Care Home Interiors company’s signature combination of form and function: fully compliant, visually beautiful living spaces that are the pride of their residents.
